Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai
Won the season-opening Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai by two strokes over Bernhard Langer, Miguel Angel Jiménez and Alex Cejka. It was his seventh win on PGA TOUR Champions, marking three consecutive years with at least one victory. Carded scores of 67-65-66 for an 18-under total. It was his fourth win in Hawaii in an official PGA TOUR-sanctioned event, previously winning the 2003 Sentry, 2003 Sony Open in Hawaii and 2004 Sony Open in Hawaii.
