Personal
- Received his first set of golf clubs at age 2. Parents said he tried to sneak out of the house whenever he could to hit balls in his yard.
- Says he eventually quit playing baseball because he was using his "golf swing" in the batter's box, leading to an inordinate number of strikeouts.
- Enjoyed playing Impossible Chipping Contests with his friends at Wildwood Green GC, where they would intentionally give each other the worst lies possible and then see who could get the ball closest to the pin.
- Is a big fan of the Carolina Panthers.

Career Highlights
2022 Season
In eight PGA TOUR Canada starts, made seven cuts, recording one victory and two other top-five outings. Qualified for the season-ending Fortinet Cup Championship, beginning the week No. 5 in the Fortinet Cup standings. Maintained that position at season’s end to earn conditional 2023 Korn Ferry Tour membership.
-
GolfBC Championship: Used four sub-70 rounds in early September in Kelowna, British Columbia, to finish T4 with fellow American James Hervol. Closed the tournament at Gallagher’s Canyon GC with a 67-66 (9-under finish), four shots behind winner Noah Goodwin.
-
CRMC Championship presented by Gertens: Three 65s and a 7-under 63 in the second round left him at 22-under and T3 with Thomas Walsh, Joe Highsmith, Trent Phillips and Conner Godsey in late-August in Minnesota. Finished the week at Cragun’s Legacy Courses four shots behind winner Jake Knapp. In the second round, made an ace on the 15th hole, his first PGA TOUR Canada hole-in-one.
-
Quebec Open: With a 65-68-66 start at Club de Golf Le Blainvillier’s Heritage Course in early August, held a stout, five-shot advantage with 18 holes to play. Maintained a healthy lead for most of the day, but after a bogey at No. 9 and making the turn at 1-under, he parred six consecutive holes to see his lead shrink to three strokes. Bogeys at Nos. 16 and 17 made his 18th hole a nervous one. Made a two-putt par there to hold off Thomas Walsh by a stroke to win his first PGA TOUR Canada title.
-
PGA TOUR Canada Q-School USA East 1: Overcame an opening 78 by shooting three par-or-better rounds to finish T15 to earn conditional PGA TOUR Canada status at The Club at Weston Hills in mid-February in Florida.
Amateur Highlights
- Won his first college tournament, the 2021 Rod Myers Invitational in Durham, North Carolina, defeating Maximilian Steinlechner by two strokes.
- Was a 2016 AJGA Rolex All-American and a 2017 USA Today All-American.
