Personal

• Played high level hockey growing up in Canada. Was the MVP of his high school golf team for three years in a row. Switched from hockey to golf when he was 16 after his mom worried about all the concussions he was getting. He does, still play hockey recreationally with his friends.
• One of his favorite moments was seeing Tiger Woods in person in a practice round at the Honda Classic a few years ago.
• Has a huge Scotty Cameron putter collection.
• On the way back from a tournament, the bus his college golf team was traveling in crashed. He was trapped inside a burning bus. Everyone eventually escaped with no serious injuries. All the team’s belongings, however, did not.
• One superstition is that he must mark his ball with a red line. If he’s playing well, he won’t change the ball, even if it’s scuffed.

2022 Season

Saw action in all 10 PGA TOUR Canada tournaments, getting to the weekend six times. Enjoyed one top-five, a runner-up performance, and qualified for the season-ending Fortinet Cup Championship, closing the season No. 24 on the Fortinet Cup standings.

• Prince Edward Island Open presented by IMP Solutions: Was solid all week, taking the 54-hole lead at Dundarave GC in Cardigan in early July after a second-round 65 and a third-round 66. Played well Sunday, firing a 3-under 69, but a late bogey, on No. 17, left him two behind Brian Carlson. Made a birdie on the 72nd hole to narrow Carlson’s final winning margin to one shot. The runner-up showing was easily his top-career performance.
• PGA TOUR Canada Q-School CANADA: One of four players to finish at 2-under for the tournament to T15 at Crowne Isle Resort in Courtenay, British Columbia, in late-April. Earned conditional PGA TOUR Canada status.
