PGA TOUR, Bank of America launch new MasterCard Affinity card

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Fans of the PGA TOUR have a new way to show support for their favorite league by carrying the PGA TOUR BankAmericard Cash Rewards MasterCard credit card. The credit card, which bears the PGA TOUR logo, offers new cardholders unique ticket and golf-related benefits.

In conjunction with the launch of the new card, the PGA TOUR and Bank of America announced a multi-year extension of the relationship that makes Bank of America the exclusive issuer of the PGA TOUR affinity credit card.

“We are very excited to extend our relationship with Bank of America as the issuer of the PGA TOUR MasterCard,” said Tom Wade, Chief Marketing Officer of the PGA TOUR. “With this extension in place, we look forward to working with Bank of America to bring unique, new cardholder benefits to the market. The expanded benefits associated with the PGA TOUR BankAmericard Cash Rewards MasterCard credit card will undoubtedly have strong appeal for both golfers and fans of the PGA TOUR.”

New cardholders will receive two tickets to a PGA TOUR tournament of their choice, as well as access and savings at the majority of TPC golf facilities, upon qualified transactions.
