PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Fantasy Golf on PGATOUR.com ramps up again in February with a refined season-long game that begins with the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am (Feb. 7-10), plus a brand new bracket game for the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship (Feb. 20-24).
The core game, which extends through the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola in late September, will offer weekly prizes as well as a $1,000 shopping spree with PGA TOUR Superstore to the season-long winner. Participants will select a team of four PGA TOUR players for the week and scores will be based on the team’s accumulated FedExCup points for each tournament. Golfers may be selected for a team only 10 times during the season. Registration opens this Wednesday (Jan. 30) on PGATOUR.com.
The new bracket game debuts on PGATOUR.com by offering a grand prize of a signed pin flag by the Accenture Match Play Championship’s winner. Participants will fill out their 64-player bracket once the seedings are announced for the Accenture Match Play Championship. Points will be awarded on correct picks and rounds: Round 1 correct selections are worth 1 point, Round 2 worth 2 points, and so on. Registration opens Sunday, Feb. 17.
