Mark O'Meara and Nick Price will defend their title in the 54-hole Legends Division this week at the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf.

O'Meara and Price defeated the team of John Cook and Joey Sindelar on the second playoff hole to win the better-ball event at Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. Price's par putt provided the victory.

For O'Meara, it was the long-awaited first journey to the Champions Tour winner's circle.

The tournament is contested in three divisions -- the Demaret Division, the Raphael Division and the Legends Division. In all, there are 72 teams competing featuring 16 World Golf Hall of Fame members for the week, which begins with the Demaret Division teeing off Monday and Tuesday.

WGHOF members Bob Charles and Gary Player will defend their title in the Demaret Division. John Bland and Graham Marsh are the titleholders in the 36-hole Raphael Division (Friday-Saturday).

Rank Players Comment
JOHN COOK & JOEY SINDELAR: Top 4 in each of the last three Legends of Golf. Lost a playoff last year and return to the Liberty Mutual in excellent form. Cook won the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am last week and Sindelar tied for ninth.
MARK O'MEARA & NICK PRICE: Defending champions are on a roll. They have combined for nine top-10 finishes this year. Price captured the Toshiba Classic and has four straight top-7 finishes, including a first, second and third.
TOM LEHMAN & COREY PAVIN: Lehman has two victories this year while Pavin is looking for his breakthrough Champions Tour win. Lehman picked up the first Champions Tour win here in 2009 alongside Bernhard Langer, who is on the DL with a wrist injury.
TOM WATSON & ANDY NORTH:: How well do these guys team up in better ball? They went 257 holes without a bogey before the streak ended with a bogey on the sixth hole in the final round last year. Winners in 2008 and T12 last year.
RUSS COCHRAN & MARK WIEBE: Cochran is in the hunt every week and after letting one get away in Tampa, he'll be even more motivated. The Cochran/Wiebe pairing finished T8 last year so there is plenty of synergy in the partnership.
