SAVANNAH, Ga. -- The 2011 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf will feature more than just top-tier competition among the best of the Champions Tour at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, as tournament officials today announced a Community Concert in Forsyth Park, Friday, April 22. The Community Concert, free of charge and open to the public courtesy of Liberty Mutual, will feature Gary Sinise and The Lieutenant Dan Band. The concert will begin at 8:30 p.m.

The 2011 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf returns to the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa for the ninth consecutive year, April 18-24.

"One of our primary goals for the 2011 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf was to engage the greater Savannah community, and what better way to kick off the weekend than a full day of golf and then a concert in Forsyth Park," said Executive Director Joe Rotellini. "Liberty Mutual has been a wonderful corporate partner of the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf for 32 years and without their support, this Community Concert wouldn't be possible. I encourage everyone to come out to Forsyth Park, a wonderful venue, for this evening of fun and music with Gary Sinise and the Lieutenant Dan Band."

"Liberty Mutual is proud of its association with the Champions Tour and the City of Savannah and we look forward to our ninth visit next month," said Paul Alexander, Liberty Mutual Group Senior Vice President, Communications. "Savannah has been a wonderful venue for the Liberty Mutual of Golf the past eight years and we're excited to offer this Community Concert, free of charge, to say 'thank you' for the wonderful hospitality the city has shown us."

Formed in 2004 by actor Gary Sinise and Kimo Williams, the Lieutenant Dan Band has performs 30-40 shows per year with 75 percent of those shows for the USO, charities or other benefits. The band's name is derived from the character Sinise played in the 1994 film Forrest Gump, a role that earned him an Oscar Nomination for Best Supporting Actor. The group covers everything from Stevie Wonder and Jimi Hendrix to contemporary country hits by Lonestar and the Zac Brown Band.

Like the Community Concert in Forsyth Park, the first two days of the Liberty Mutual Legends of golf featuring the Demaret Division Competition will be open to the public free of charge. Daily tickets for Wednesday-Sunday are on sale now with prices starting at $15 (the price of single day tickets increases to $25 at the gate). Week-long River Club passes are $75 and include admission into the River Club Pavilion Friday-Sunday. Tickets may be purchased by visiting the tournament's web site at
