Battles Crohn's disease, a chronic inflammatory bowel disease which causes inflammation in the digestive tract; he was diagnosed in December 2012, amid his freshman year at Florida State University. Today, Lebioda says, "I’m at a point where I can manage it in my sleep essentially. That’s how healthy I am.” Lebioda, who supports the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation (CCF), predominantly supporting the non-profit’s local chapter in central Florida, also notes, "Since (the diagnosis), I’ve been fighting like hell to prove that you can live a normal and great life with Crohn’s disease.”
Got into golf through his father, David, who bribed Hank with frozen yogurt. David would come home from work, take Hank to the driving range, and on the way home they would stop at TCBY for frozen yogurt.
Played baseball growing up and posted a .407 batting average in one of his two seasons on the varsity team at Trinity Preparatory School in Winter Park, Florida, though he ultimately gave up baseball to focus on golf.
Inducted into the Trinity Prep Athletic Hall of Fame. Other inductees include former PGA TOUR member Sam Saunders.
Classic rock fan; he listened to it a lot playing baseball growing up and still does. Also likes country music and Ed Sheeran, and one of his favorite concert experiences was seeing Sheeran perform in Montreal, Quebec the week of his victory at the 2017 Mackenzie Investments Open on PGA TOUR Canada; Hank got home from the Wednesday night show between 1-2 a.m. and had an early-morning tee time for the first round.
