Performed live music as a guitarist for a couple years between age 10-13 and "had a promising future as a musician but faded out as (he) grew more interested in golf."

Favorite hobby is listening to music; he enjoys collaborating on playlists with friends and finding songs he's never heard before.

Favorite golf memory as a fan is being a standard bearer at The Honda Classic every year when he was young. Highlights were standard bearing for Sergio Garcia and in the final round when Rory McIlroy won to take the over the No. 1 position in the Official World Golf Ranking for the first time.

Attended the 2011 U.S. Open at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland, where Rory McIlroy won his first major championship.

Finds inspiration in transcendent athletes such as Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Michael Phelps, Shaun White, Tony Hawk, and Roger Federer; he enjoys learning about "what makes those guys tick, their habits, processes and mindsets."

Father, Karl, won a United States Tennis Association team championship in 2003.

Has a sister who works in the golf equipment manufacturer industry as a marketer.
