PGATOUR.COM sees record increase in video streams

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. - PGATOUR.COM teed off the first quarter of 2012 with record-setting traffic to the site. From January through March, the site delivered an all-time record of more than 5.8 million average unique users per month, an increase of 40 percent versus last year. In addition, March 2012 set a new monthly record for unique users (7.5 million, up 62 percent from 2011). With LIVE@ providing live video streaming, PGATOUR.COM also delivered a triple-digit increase in video streams (105 percent over last year) during the first quarter.

Highlights include: • An all-time record quarter with more than 5.8 million average monthly unique users, up 40 percent vs. 2011. • March 2012 set an all-time record with 7.5 million monthly unique users, an increase of 62 percent vs. March 2011. • An increase of 105 percent for video consumption over last year. • PGA TOUR mobile products have also seen triple digit growth (139 percent over last year). PGA TOUR Digital provides live online and mobile streaming for 10 PGA TOUR tournaments through its signature LIVE@ franchise. LIVE@ is accessible through PGA TOUR HD, the official iPad app and the PGA TOUR Android and iPhone apps.
