The Genesis Invitational
Earned his first PGA TOUR title at the 2026 Genesis Invitational, totaling 18-under 266 for a one-stroke victory over Kurt Kitayama and Rory McIlroy, his playing partner in the final group of the final round. In his tournament debut and 66th career start on TOUR, built a six-stroke lead through 54 holes after an opening-round 5-under 66 and consecutive rounds of 7-under 64, tying the 54-hole tournament scoring record of 194 previously established by Joaquin Niemann (2022). Six-stroke lead through 54 holes was one stroke shy of the tournament record for largest 54-hole lead (Arnold Palmer/1966). Became the first player since Pat Fitzsimons in 1975 to win The Genesis Invitational in their tournament debut. Also became the 13th player and first since 2015 (James Hahn) to make The Genesis Invitational their first PGA TOUR title.
