Starting on hole 10, Salinda played his back nine (holes 10-18) at even par, then went 1-over on the front nine. The most notable moment of his round came on hole 16, where he recorded a double bogey on the par-4. Salinda ranked fifth in the field for Driving Distance, averaging 309.4 yards off the tee for the round. At 12 strokes off the lead held by Andrew Novak, Salinda will need a strong performance in the weekend rounds to improve his position on the leaderboard.
