With his older brother, Matt Fitzpatrick, as his partner, earned his first PGA TOUR title at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in what was his 11th career start on TOUR. With the victory, earned PGA TOUR membership for the first time, as well as exemptions into the 2026 PGA Championship, the four remaining Signature Events in 2026 (Cadillac Championship, Truist Championship, the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday, Travelers Championship), and the 2027 PLAYERS Championship. Marked the first TOUR win by a non-member and sponsor exemption since Michael Brennan (2025 Bank of Utah Championship). Totaled a tournament-record 31-under 257 at TPC Louisiana off the strength of a 15-under 57 in the third round, the lowest 18-hole score in the Four-ball format since the tournament became a team event in 2017. Marked the fourth consecutive year Alex and Matt played the event together (T19/2023, T11/2024, MC/2025).
