Has an identical twin brother, Yannik, who was born a minute later. The two became the first twins to compete in a DP World Tour event at the 2016 BMW International Open. The two also played together at the University of Colorado and on the Mackenzie Tour - PGA TOUR Canada.

He and his identical twin brother, Yannik, both earned tour memberships within 24 hours of each other in 2021. On Sunday, November 7, Yannik earned a direct promotion to the DP World Tour via his top-15 finish in the Challenge Tour's Road to Mallorca Rankings. On Monday, November 8, Jeremy finished T11 at the Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying Tournament's Final Stage to secure guaranteed starts for the 2022 season.

Earliest golf memory is getting a golf ball from Justin Rose at the Deutsche Bank Open in Germany when he just started playing golf. Has never met Rose but looks forward to reminding him of this if he ever gets paired with him.

Set or tied several school records at the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he collected three wins and 21 top-10s in 47 starts. Led the team in scoring all four years and earned an All-American honorable mention honors in 2016.
