Finished in a tie for No. 7 in the FedExCup standings and went on to win the Travelers Championship, earning his eighth career PGA TOUR title. Qualified for the FedExCup Playoffs for the 15th consecutive season and advanced to the TOUR Championship for the seventh time. Recorded six top-10s, including the win, and made 19 cuts in 21 starts. Selected as the captain for the United States at the 2025 Ryder Cup for the first time in his career.
Travelers Championship
Won the Travelers Championship, his eighth PGA TOUR title in 368th start at the age of 39 years, 15 days. With a birdie putt from 5 feet, 8 inches on the 72nd hole, won from three-or-more strokes behind entering the final round for the fourth time on TOUR. Won in back-to-back-to back seasons for the first time in his TOUR career (2024 BMW Championship). 2023 Travelers Championship winner became eighth multiple-time winner of the event and first since Bubba Watson (2018).
