Personal

Wife, Anna (McClung), was two-time Gatorade National Player of the Year in soccer during high school. She played collegiately for Florida State and Tennessee. Brother-in-law Mac McClung played basketball for Texas Tech and broke Allen Iverson’s record for most all-time points scored in Virginia high school history.

Interned at AssuredPartners in the accounting department during 2020.

Earliest golf memory is winning the junior club championship at his home course. It was a six-hole tournament that he says "felt like he had just won a huge tournament."

Always carries two tees in his pocket.

Calls himself a bit of a "coffee snob." Travels with his own coffee and brews it in his hotel before he plays.

When he was young, he would put his plastic golf clubs in the back of his toy car and cry whenever his dad didn't take him to the course with him. Ever since, his dad has been his biggest supporter and has sacrificed a lot for him to get where he is today.

Palmarés como aficionado

Won three tournaments in 2019. First came at the Tennessee State Amateur when he edged William Nottingham by a stroke in mid-August. A month later, with school back in session, he won the University of Texas-San Antonio’s Lone Star Invitational, beating Guillaume Fanonnel by a stroke. Later that month, prevailed at the Autotrader Collegiate Classic by four shots over George Heath.
