In his rookie season on TOUR, qualified for the FedExCup Playoffs and advanced to the BMW Championship, finishing No. 48 in the FedExCup standings. Recorded six top-10s, including back-to-back solo-second finishes at the 3M Open and Wyndham Championship, and made 19 cuts in 26 starts.
Zurich Classic of New Orleans
Finished T4 at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans with partner Nico Echavarria, his first career top-five on the PGA TOUR.
3M Open
Carded a final-round 63 to finish solo-second at the 3M Open, his first career runner-up finish on TOUR.
Wyndham Championship
Held the 54-hole lead at the Wyndham Championship and went on to finish solo-second, earning his second consecutive runner-up on TOUR. Led the field in Scrambling (92.31 percent) and co-led in Par-5 Scoring Average (3.75). Made quadruple bogey at the par-4 14th in the final round and went on to lose by two strokes. Became the first player to follow an eagle with a quadruple bogey since Jarrod Lyle in the first round of the 2009 Valero Texas Open.
