Played in nine Mackenzie Tour events, making five cuts and picking up a win at the Lethbridge Paradise Canyon Open in his first Mackenzie Tour start. Finished the year No. 17 on the Order of Merit, earning an exemption into the final stage of Korn Ferry Tour Q-School and 2019 Mackenzie Tour status.

Played consistently all week, firing rounds of 65-65-66-65. After nearly holing his bunker shot for the victory on the 18th hole of regulation, made a 3-foot birdie putt to send him to a three-man playoff. Birdied the first playoff hole to match Zach Wright and did so again on the second extra hole to win the inaugural event.
