Finished No. 17 on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, earning PGA TOUR membership via the Korn Ferry Tour for a second consecutive season. After only making just two starts on TOUR in October 2022 and missing significant time due to a back injury, made eight starts on the Korn Ferry Tour and posted top-10s in half of those starts, highlighted by a victory at The Ascendant presented by Blue. Returned to play the PGA TOUR in August 2023 at the Wyndham Championship (T27), and closed out the fall with T28s in back-to-back starts at the 2023 Shriners Children's Open and 2023 RSM Classic.
The Ascendant presented by Blue
Earned his third career victory on the Korn Ferry Tour and first since winning in consecutive years in 2016 and 2017. Totaled 20-under 268 -- breaking The Ascendant presented by Blue's 72-hole tournament scoring record by three strokes -- at TPC Colorado in Berthoud, Colorado, finishing two strokes ahead of runner-up Max Greyserman. Won in what was his fifth start in preparation to return to the PGA TOUR, as he missed significant time in the 2022-23 season due to a back injury.
