Secured a return to the PGA TOUR with a No. 13 finish on the season-long Korn Ferry Tour Eligibility Points List. Played out of the “Floor of Five” category until his victory at the LECOM Suncoast Classic, the fifth event of the season. Posted eight top-25s in his 10 made cuts, but the only top-10s were his win and a T2 at the Veritex Bank Championship.
LECOM Suncoast Classic
Recorded his first career victory in a PGA TOUR-sanctioned event and first worldwide win with rounds of 65-66-67-69 for a 17-under 267 and one-stroke victory over four players who finished T2 at the LECOM Suncoast Classic. Birdies at the par-5 14th and difficult par-4 16th, with the latter coming via 55-foot putt, negated a failed sand save attempt and bogey on the 72nd hole.
Veritex Bank Championship
Carded four rounds in the 60s for a second time in 2022, with the highlight being a 9-under 62 which tied the 18-hole tournament scoring record in the second round, as he totaled a 20-under 264 and finished T2 at the Veritex Bank Championship.
