- Travis Trace (T4/-13) cards a 7-under 63 as the University of North Florida alum, who stands No. 87 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, is seeking his first top-10 of the season (two career top 10s, both in 2025).

- Brigham Young University alum and Utah native Daniel Summerhays (T25/-9) cards a 7-under 63 for the top 36-hole position among players with Utah ties; among the other locals, Farmington native Preston Summerhays (66-69) missed the cut by one stroke at 5-under 135, while Monday qualifier and BYU alum Carson Lundell and Ogden natives Connor Howe (65-73) and Mitchell Schow (67-72) also finished outside the number.
- Six players share the day’s second-lowest round at 8-under 62: Derek Hitchner, Chris Korte, Ian Holt, Jeremy Paul, Kyle Westmoreland and John Marshall Butler.
