AUGUSTA, Ga. — After early week rain and storms in the Augusta area, cool but clear conditions are set for the weekend at the 89th Masters Tournament.

Temperatures will continue to rise on Saturday at Augusta National Golf Club, and players can expect a mix of sun and clouds throughout the afternoon with temperatures reaching the upper 60s. Clouds will gradually clear in the evening as daytime heating fades. The air will be much drier than on Friday, which will help limit shower development for when the leaders will tee off.

Justin Rose holds a one-shot lead over Bryson DeChambeau with current FedExCup leader Rory McIlroy and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler part of a star-studded chasing pack.

Sunday will begin on a chilly note, but sunny skies will help temperatures rebound into the low 70s for the final round.

Here’s a look at the forecast for the final three days of the Masters:

    • Saturday: Sunny becoming partly cloudy with a slight chance for an afternoon shower. Low: 45F High: 69F Winds: NNE 5-10 in the morning becoming NW 7-12 mph.
    • Sunday: Mostly sunny. Low: 44F High: 72F Winds: NE 3-6 in the morning becoming WSW 5-10 mph.
