Played high level hockey growing up in Canada. Was the MVP of his high school golf team for three years in a row. Switched from hockey to golf when he was 16 after his mom worried about all the concussions he was getting. He does, still play hockey recreationally with his friends.

One of his favorite moments was seeing Tiger Woods in person in a practice round at the Honda Classic a few years ago.

Has a huge Scotty Cameron putter collection.

On the way back from a tournament, the bus his college golf team was traveling in crashed. He was trapped inside a burning bus. Everyone eventually escaped with no serious injuries. All the team’s belongings, however, did not.

One superstition is that he must mark his ball with a red line. If he’s playing well, he won’t change the ball, even if it’s scuffed.
