Is the grandson of Frank Strafaci, winner of the 1935 U.S. Amateur Public Links . Also won the 1938 and 1939 North and South Amateurs. Followed in Grandpa's footsteps, winning that same tournament in 2020.

Loves being outdoors, on the water, fishing and boating. His parents own a bed and breakfast inn in the Florida Keys. Loves spending time there.
