Austin, TEXAS -- The Kinko's Classic of Austin, a PGA Champions Tour today announced an agreement
that makes Children's Hospital of Austin the second major beneficiary of the tournament scheduled for the week of May 5-11,
2003 at the Hills Country Club in Lakeway.
Children's Hospital of Austin serves as the regional pediatric referral center for the 46-county Central Texas region and
is a member of the SETON Healthcare Network, a not-for-profit community provider. In keeping with the mission to care for
and improve the health of those served, Children?s patients receive the highest level of medical care regardless of the families'
ability to pay. Children's Hospital's commitment is focused on treating the specialized needs of children in an environment
that is designed specifically for them. Their dedicated team of doctors, nurses, technicians and therapists are trained and
experienced in the care of children, and have devoted their careers not just to medicine, but to the sick and injured children
they serve.
"We are pleased to be a major beneficiary of The Kinko's Classic this year, said Missy Wood, Executive Director of Children's
Hospital Foundation of Austin. "This is a great opportunity to be involved with such a prestigious event as it will create
an awareness of the wonderful care we provide the sick and injured children of Central Texas. The funds raised will help us
to continue to provide our young patients with the best pediatric medical care available."
"We are thrilled to have this fine organization join The Greater Austin Youth Foundation and its efforts to host what will
become the best tournament on The Champions Tour. Selecting The Children's Hospital of Austin and The First Tee of Greater
Austin as our primary charities of choice will guarantee that children from all over the central Texas region will have one
more source of funds for healthcare services and life skills building endeavors. We are hopeful that The Kinko's Classic will
bring more awareness, volunteers and financial support to these great organizations. Our Spring focus now turns to recruiting
other organizations in the area that can help us with tournament week activities, creating yet another way to financially
help charities in the area." Said, Kenny Hill, Chairman of The Greater Austin Youth Foundation.

About the Kinko's Classic of Austin The Kinko's Classic of Austin will mark the Champions Tour's return to Austin since
the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf moved after the 1994 season. Considered the catalyst for the creation of the Champions
Tour (formerly known as the SENIOR TOUR), the Legends originated in Austin in 1978. Austin maintains a strong connection to
the Champions Tour as the hometown of Ben Crenshaw, Terry Dill, Tom Jenkins, Tom Kite and Steve Veriato.
The Kinko's Classic of Austin will be a 54-hole individual stroke-play event with a purse of $1.6 million. The tournament
will be played on The Hills, Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, which opened in 1981.
About the First Tee of Greater Austin As earlier announced, The First Tee of Greater Austin has been selected as the
other primary beneficiary. An affiliate of the World Golf Foundation's national First Tee initiative, TFTGA, is a non-profit
organization that uses a unique teaching program designed specifically to extract the inherent values in the game of golf
and teach them to participants in the program. It is their goal that participants not only learn the life-long game of golf,
but that they also acquire personal assets such as resiliency, self-worth and a sense of integrity and responsibility which
will help them develop and maintain long-term physical, mental and social health.
The First Tee Life Skills Program is one of the unique features that sets The First Tee apart from many other youth focused
skills development programs. Through one-on-one relationships with mentors, and a curriculum designed exclusively for The
First Tee, participants build valuable life skills including: interpersonal communication, goal setting, self-management and
other assets that help them increase their resistance to negative influences while also teaching them personal responsibility.
TFTGA serves Austin through its East Austin after- school programs, weekend and summer clinics, and tournaments. TFTGA is
currently building a golf focused sports complex and learning center designed specifically to facilitate the delivery of their
Life Skills program. It is expected to open around June of 2003. The facilities and programs are managed by highly trained
LPGA and PGA Teaching Professionals who partner with enthusiastic and caring adult mentors to teach the game of golf and the
inherent values found in the game. These skills can provide youth with the ability to deal with challenges as tough as economic
hardship, fractured families or a lack of role models. To get involved, give financial support or to find more information

PGA TOUR. Its primary purposes as a component of the PGA TOUR are to provide significant competitive and earnings opportunities
for players age 50 and older; to protect the integrity of the game; and to help grow the reach of the game in the U.S. and
around the world. In addition to providing competitive opportunities for its membership, Champions Tour events also generate
