American Public University System "Military Outpost" to offer complimentary food and beverage to all Armed
Forces members in attendance
Four Armed Forces Personnel to Serve as First Tee Announcers
Baltimore, MD, September 21, 2009 - As part of the Champions Tour's ongoing commitment to honor the men and women of the
U.S. military, the Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship is extending free admission to the 2009 Championship to
active duty, retired personnel and reservists in all branches of the Armed Forces from military installations in the Baltimore/Washington
D.C. region.
The tournament will take place October 1-4, 2009 on the East Course at Baltimore Country Club in Timonium, MD. Armed
Forces personnel must present their identification card at the gate in exchange for a grounds ticket. Additional tickets

In support of military service members, American Public University System is sponsoring a hospitality tent located adjacent
to the 17th tee. The American Public University System "Military Outpost" offers shade, complimentary food and beverage
service and a large screen television to all Armed Forces members in attendance.
Additionally, four military personnel have been selected to make introductions of the professional golfers on the 1st tee
on Thursday, October 1, 2009. In their full service dress, Army-SGT(P) Nathan Bowen, Marine-MAJ Danny Chung, Army SFC
Richard McNamara and Air Force-SSgt Russell Scalf will have the honor of announcing this year.
About the Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship The Constellation Energy Senior Players
Championship is one of five major championships on the PGA TOUR's Champions Tour for eligible professionals age 50 and over.
Dates for the 2009 event are September 28 - October 4. The event will be played on the East Course at Baltimore Country
Club in Timonium, MD, with a field of 78 Champions Tour players competing for a share of the $2.7 million purse, the largest
of the season. The final two rounds of the event will be broadcast on NBC in high definition and aired in more than
140 countries around the world (1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday, 4-6 p.m. Sunday). The first and second rounds of this final
major of the season will air on the GOLF CHANNEL (1:00-3:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday). Since the inception of both the
Senior Players Championship and the former Constellation Energy Classic, nearly $9 million has been raised for charities in
the communities in which the tournaments were staged. Since Constellation Energy became the host sponsor of Champions
Tour-affiliated tournaments in 2003, more than $3 million has been raised for Maryland charitable organizations. To
