October 2009 will mark the 25th annual observance of National Breast Cancer
Awareness Month. The Oneida Indian Nation's Turning Stone Resort Championship is teaming up with the Carol M. Baldwin Breast
Cancer Research Fund of CNY to commemorate the occasion on Thursday, Oct. 1 at The Atunyote Golf Club.
Several activities are scheduled to honor breast cancer survivors, promote
wellness and raise funds for breast cancer research.
The day will begin at 7 a.m. Breast cancer survivors will be admitted free,
and each honorary hole captain will be a survivor as well. Spectators, players and staff are encouraged to wear pink. Several
pink items will be for sale throughout the day, including wristbands, ribbons, apparel, half moon cookies and strawberry milkshakes.
Representatives of The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund of CNY
will be joined by healthcare professionals from SUNY Upstate Medical University to provide the public with information and
answer questions.

Breast Cancer Research Fund, Inc. are committed to battling breast cancer by supporting both new and established researchers.

The Turning Stone Resort Championship, scheduled for Sept. 28 - Oct. 4 at The
