THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (Dec. 20) - Anthony Kim's five-under 67 equaled the low round of the $5.75 million Chevron World
Challenge Presented by Bank of America and vaulted him into the third-round lead at Sherwood Country Club.
Kim, who record six birdies and one bogey, starts Sunday's final round with a one-shot lead over Jim Furyk and a two-shot
lead over Camilo Villegas, Vijay Singh and Steve Stricker.
Kim said he's pleased with the lead.
"I'm happy to be shooting under 80 right now, so I'm fine with whatever place I'm in," Kim said. "I was just trying
not to be last this week. Everything is looking pretty bright for me."
The leader after the first two rounds, Furyk saw his one-shot lead evaporate on the 18th hole when he blocked his drive,
knocked his second shot into the water and two-putted for a double bogey six. He finished with a two-under 70.
"If you had told me three days ago I'd be one shot back going into the last round, I'd have been happy," said Furyk, who
came away with birdies and a healthy respect for the course.
"There a lot of big numbers out there. It can jump up and bite you."
Villegas, who had a 67 in the second round, shot a three-under 69, while Singh eagled the par five 13th on his way to a
67. He shot 31 on the back. Stricker came up with a 68, his best round of the tournament.
The winner receives a $1.35 million check, and even last place in the 16-player field earns $170,000. Through 54
holes, 10 players are under par.

Foundation has reached an estimated 10 million young people through character development, career exploration and grant making
programs. Programs developed and supported by the Tiger Woods Foundation all share a similar mission of empowering young
people to dream big and to set specific goals to achieve their dreams.
Launched in February, 2006, the Tiger Woods Learning Center is an innovative 14-acre, after school campus designed to inspire
career exploration. Serving members in grades 5 through 12, classes include forensic science, robotics, engineering, aerospace,
video production and marine biology. Tiger's Action Plan-based on Earl Woods' best-selling book, Start Something-is a free
program for youth 8-17 that addresses three priorities: character education, volunteer service and career exploration. Through
participation in TAP, youth define a specific personal goal and develop an action plan to achieve it while giving back to
