Transitions Championship

Tickets for the March 16-22, 2009 Transitions Championship For Healthy Sight will be sold at Publix stores in The Villages, and in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, Polk, Sarasota and Manatee counties.

The Transitions Championship, which each year brings the top names on the PGA Tour to the Tampa Bay area, is played in Palm Harbor at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club. Proceeds from the tournament benefit over 150 local charities. In the last 32 years, the total contributions exceed $23 million.

For the second year, consumers will be able to buy their Transitions Championship tickets at the customer service counters at participating West Central Florida Publix Super Markets. Good Any One Day tickets and Weekly Badges are available for the event, which includes two Pro-Am tournaments, practice rounds and four days of tournament play.

Tickets available at Publix:

� Good Any One Day are $40 in advance, or $55 at the gate; and

� Weekly Badge (good for admittance all week) is $99.

The Transitions Championship is played on the famed Copperhead Course at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club, located at 36750 US Hwy. 19 N. in Palm Harbor, 34684. From Hwy. 60 West (Courtney Campbell Cswy./Gulf-to-Bay Blvd.), Innisbrook is approximately 11 miles north on the west side of US Hwy 19.
