Clint Black to Headline Friday Night Concert at the 2006 84 Lumber Classic The Black Eyed Peas Perform Saturday
84 Lumber Classic Tournament Office, July 12, 2006 - Country music veteran, Clint Black, will headline the Friday, September
15th concert at the 2006 84 Lumber Classic, September 11-17, at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania.
During his 16-year career in the Country music industry, Black has released chart-topping hits including "Killin' Time,"
the title track off of his 1989 debut album, "A Better Man," "Like The Rain," "Nothin' But The Taillights," and "When I Said
I Do," a duet with his wife, Lisa Hartman Black.
His latest and tenth full-length studio album, "Drinkin' Songs & Other Logic," is what Black calls a "bar-room, honky
tonk kind of album." The album includes hits including, "Heartaches," "I Don't Want To Tell You," "Longnecks and Rednecks,"
"Rainbow In The Rain," and the title track.
Local favorite, The PovertyNeck Hillbillies, will open for Black and perform following completion of the day's tournament
round.
The Grammy Award winning Black Eyes Peas will perform Saturday night, September 16. Their most recent album, "Monkey
Business," includes hits including "Don't Phunk With My Heart," "Don't Lie" and "My Humps."
84 Lumber Classic concerts are free with a valid pass from that day's tournament round. Concerts begin one half hour
following completion of the day's tournament round (approximately 7 p.m. on both nights).
