Eighty Four Lumber Classic Tournament Office, January 18, 2006 - Advance Charity tickets to the 2006 84 Lumber Classic, September 11 - 17 at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, are now available from more than 80 local and regional charities. 

Charities are permitted to sell the tickets until July 31, 2006, for $15.00 each or four tickets for $50.00.  The retail price for 2006 tournament tickets is $25.00.  In addition to granting admission to any of the four tournament rounds charity tickets also provide admission to free concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Since 2003, the 84 Lumber Classic has raised more than $4.2 million for charity and was a significant contributor to the PGA TOUR's Drive to One Billion campaign which marked $1 billion in total charitable giving by the TOUR since 1938.   

"Giving back to the communities and region's which host PGA TOUR events is central the TOUR's mission of charitable support and is something we also practice daily at 84 Lumber," said Tournament Executive Director and 84 Lumber President Maggie Hardy Magerko.  "We look forward to another great year of support for local charities through the 84 Lumber Classic and urge everyone to support these charities through ticket purchases."
