NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA - More than 1,800 dedicated volunteers have signed up to
assist in the operations of the AT&T National, held June 29 - July 4 at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pa. In
addition to honoring the brave men and women serving in the military, this exciting PGA TOUR event raises funds and awareness
for the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club of Philadelphia and the Tiger Woods Foundation
"Our volunteers are such an important part of the tournament and we are grateful for their support and participation,"
said Emily Taylor, spokeswoman for the AT&T National. "They play a vital role in helping us make the event enjoyable for
fans and players.
The AT&T National began accepting applications for volunteers in September of 2009 and by November they had received
more than 2,000 entries. The final team of 1,850 range in age from 19 to 80, with teenagers (ages 12 to 18) set to serve as
standard bearers. Volunteer roles this year include special needs, ambassadors, Pro-Am, Marshals, Shotlink operators, walking
scorers, player services, driving range, caddies, transportation, information booth, shuttle hosts, apparel, admissions, carts,
hospitality and honorary observer.

The 2010 AT&T National will welcome 120 of the TOUR's finest golfers including Jim Furyk, Sean O'Hair, Justin Leonard,
Vijay Singh and defending champion, Tiger Woods. At stake at the tournament is prize money of $6.2 million, with $1.116 million
going to the winner, plus an invitation to next year's Masters, important Ryder Cup and Fed Ex Cup points and a two-year exemption
on the PGA Tour.
The AT&T National, the 28th official stop on the 2010 PGA Tour schedule, benefits the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation,
the Boys and Girls Club of Philadelphia and the Tiger Woods Foundation.
