BETHESDA, Md. - Once again golf legend Tiger Woods will pay tribute to the brave men and women who serve
our country in the U.S. Military at the AT&T National, held Fourth of July weekend in the nation's capital.
This year, the tournament, held at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md., will provide military personnel and their
families a unique golf experience as well as allow fans to personally support the troops by sending a care package to bases
overseas.
Care Package Tent - Spectators are encouraged to visit the USO Care Package Tent where they can build
a care package which will be sent to troops deployed overseas. The USO Care Package Tent is located adjacent to the
Lockheed Martin Military Pavilion at number #3 green/#4 tee.
Military Caddies - On Wednesday, July 1st, 26 active military personnel from the Washington, D.C., area
will act as professional caddies on hole No. 7 wearing special camo caddie bibs during the Earl Woods Memorial Pro-Am, named
after Woods' father, a Lieutenant Colonel Green Beret with Special Forces in Vietnam.
Lockheed Martin Military Pavilion - Located on the #3 green/#4 tee, the Lockheed Martin Military Pavilion is open to all
military ticket holders Tuesday through Sunday of tournament week. The Pavilion provides a VIP experience which includes snacks
and beverages, as well as a prime viewing area.
Military Merchandise Discount - With a valid Military ID, patrons will receive a 10% one-time discount
at all on course merchandise locations.
Military Starters/Announcers - Sixteen members of the military representing the Coast Guard, Air Force,
Navy, Marine Corps and National Guard will serve as starters on the #1 and #10 tees during tournament week. In addition, on
Sunday two military representatives will be stationed near the 18th green and will recognize the players as they complete
their 72nd hole.
Wounded Warriors - Fifty Wounded Warriors will be treated to a VIP visit, hosted by AT&T and Congressional
Country Club, on Wednesday and Thursday of tournament week. Challenge Coins - On Memorial Day,
the Tiger Woods Foundation launched the sale of the 2009 Commemorative Coin. Only 500 of these coins are available for purchase
by the general public. Since this prestigious PGA TOUR event honors the brave men and women who serve in the Armed Forces,
each year the tournament produces a unique coin that recognizes all five branches of the military - Army, Navy, Air Force,
Marines and Coast Guard. These commemorative, one-of-a-kind coins are given to the players and their caddies who compete.
The 2009 coin is decorated with the U.S. Flag and the words "honoring those who serve and their families."
Military Tickets - Tournament officials distributed 30,000 complimentary tickets to the U.S. Military.
The tickets were distributed by the Pentagon's Army ITT/ITR office on a first come, first served basis to local ITT/ITR offices
beginning June 3. Tickets were available for all active duty, reserve, retired, and DOD civilian personnel.
AT&T* is the title sponsor of the golf tournament and has supported the Tiger Woods Foundation for the last six years.
The AT&T National, held June 30-July 5, will welcome 120 of the PGA TOUR's finest players at the 7,255-yard Blue Course
in Bethesda. Players including Woods, defending champion Anthony Kim, Lucas Glover, Steve Stricker, Sean O'Hair, Fred Couples,
Boo Weekley, Mike Weir, Nick Watney and Danny Lee will compete for the $6 million purse.
About the Tiger Woods Foundation - Since its inception in 1996 by Tiger Woods and his father Earl, the
Tiger Woods Foundation has reached an estimated 10 million young people through character development, career exploration,
scholarships and grant making programs. Programs developed and supported by the Tiger Woods Foundation all share a similar
mission of empowering young people to dream big and to set specific goals to achieve their dreams.
Specific programs of the Foundation include the Tiger Woods Learning Center, a youth-education facility
and curriculum based in Anaheim, Calif., and Tiger's Action Plan, a nationwide character development program based on Earl
D. Woods' book entitled Start Something. Tiger's Action Plan is a free program for youth 8-17 that addresses three priorities:
character education, volunteer service and career exploration. More information on the Tiger Woods Foundation and its programs

About Congressional Country Club - The Congressional Country Club, which opened in 1924, is par-72 course
covering 7,173 yards. The course has played host to four majors--two U.S. Opens (1964 and 1997), one PGA Championship (1976)
and the U.S. Senior Open (1995) and will host the U.S. Open once again in 2011. The Kemper Open was played there from
1980-86 and the Booz Allen Classic was held there in 2005.
Congressman Oscar E. Bland and O.R. Lubring of Indiana, founders of the Club, set out to provide an informal common ground
where politicians and businessmen could meet as peers, unconstrained by red tape. They took their idea to Herbert Hoover,
then Secretary of Commerce, who agreed to serve as Founders' Club President and, from 1922-1923, Honorary Founding President
of a soon-to-be-built Congressional Country Club. Primarily because of the determination of these original two visionaries,
the Club was incorporated in December 1921. Construction of the Club took two and one-half years from concept to completion.
Its international recognition, intended for the world of politics, has been achieved instead in the world of golf.
About the PGA TOUR - The PGA TOUR is a tax-exempt membership organization of professional golfers. Its
primary purpose is to provide competitive earnings opportunities for past, current and future members of the PGA TOUR, Champions

the world. In 2007, the three Tours will compete in approximately 110 events for approximately $340 million in prize
money. Tournaments are being held in six countries outside the U.S. and in 36 states. In addition to providing
competitive opportunities for its membership, TOUR events also generate significant funds for local charities. In fact, the
three Tours have surpassed the $1 billion mark in overall charitable contributions. The PGA TOUR's web site address
is www.pgatour.com and the company is headquartered in Ponte Vedra Beach,
