Trevor Immelman Looks To Make it Two at Castle Pines

CASTLE ROCK, CO---South African Trevor Immelman, along with five other first-time PGA TOUR winners, will look to earn their second victory of the year during the 2006 INTERNATIONAL at Castle Pines Golf Club, August 7-13.  Aaron Baddeley, Chris Couch, Aaron Oberholser, Brett Wetterich and J.J. Henry are the others.

"We've seen an emergence of talented young players capturing their first victory on TOUR this year" said Executive Director Larry O. Thiel.  "It's certainly been fun to watch and we look forward to seeing them compete at Castle Pines," he added. 

Immelman, who won the Cialas Western Open earlier this month, will be playing in The INTERNATIONAL for just the second time.  During his first appearance in 2005, Immelman, who recently became a father, missed the cut earning six points and $10,350. 

 Baddeley, whose victory came at the Verizon Heritage, will be playing at Castle Pines for the fourth time in his short career.  In all, he has earned -6 points and $29,500. 
Couch claimed his victory at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans this year.  He has played in The INTERNATIONAL only one other time, earning -3 points.    

This will be AT&T Pebble Beach champion Oberholser's third time at Castle Pines.  In all, he has earned a total of 18 points and $27,000 here.  EDS Byron Nelson champion Wetterich didn't fare as well in his two tries - he earned a total of -18 points.

  • England's David Howell;
  • Denver native, Jonathan Kaye and;
