Donald, Baddeley Top List of Young Guns Headed to Castle Pines

CASTLE ROCK, CO --- A swarm of fresh PGA TOUR talent is on its way to Castle Pines Golf Club for the 20th annual INTERNATIONAL, August 1-7, 2005.  And, Englishman Luke Donald and Australian Aaron Baddeley are leading the pack.
Executive Director Larry O. Thiel will tell you that this group could add some real sizzle to the already exciting Tournament played under the Modified Stableford scoring system, which rewards aggressive play.  "We've seen an emergence of youth and talent on the PGA TOUR of late," he said.  "These guys are colorful personalities with a dynamic style of play.  Golf fans in Colorado will certainly enjoy watching them play under our unique scoring system which encourages players to take risks," he added.
Donald seems to be knocking on victory's door this year, having finished in 2nd place twice in 2005.  He is currently 13th on the PGA TOUR money list and is ranked 15th on the official world golf ranking.  Donald has only participated in one other INTERNATIONAL, where his score of -6 caused him to miss the 36-hole cut.
Baddeley is also having a decent season, having posted four top ten finishes this year.  He is currently 54th on the PGA TOUR money list.  This will mark Baddeley's third appearance in The INTERNATIONAL.  In two performances here, he has earned $29,500 and a total of just three points.
Joining Donald and Baddeley are Charles Howell, III and Sean O'Hair, who at the age of 23 claimed his first TOUR victory at the John Deere Classic last week.  O'Hair is currently the youngest rookie on TOUR and has never participated in an INTERNATIONAL.
At age 26, Howell, is looking more and more like a TOUR veteran.  With one TOUR victory under his belt ('02 Michelob Championship at Kingsmill), he is currently 35th on the TOUR Money list.  His best finish to date was T2 at the Buick Invitational.  In 2003, he earned a spot on The President's Cup for the United States.  Howell first played in The INTERNATIONAL in 2000 and hasn't missed a year since.  He has earned a total of 76 points and $297,750.
Other Young Guns who will be at Castle Pines this August include Hunter Mahan, Arron Oberholser, South Korean Kevin Na and Ryan Palmer.
