CASTLE ROCK, Colo. -- Colorado native and two-time Nationwide Tour winner Kevin Stadler is the latest entry in the field for the 2004 INTERATIONAL, the tournament today announced. Stadler made news earlier this month by becoming the first person to capture two Nationwide Tour victories in just four starts.

"Golf fans across Colorado are watching with interest as Kevin Stadler tears it up on the Nationwide Tour," said Executive Director Larry O. Thiel. "It will be a real thrill to watch him play at Castle Pines," he added.

Kevin Stadler is the son of past Masters champion Craig Stadler, who is currently a member of the Champions Tour. Earlier this year, the two became only the second father and son team to win PGA TOUR-sponsored events on the same day. Craig Stadler shot an eight-under 64 to win the Bank of America Championship on the Champions Tour in time to watch his son Kevin win the Lake Erie Charity Classic in New York. It was his first victory on the Nationwide Tour - his second coming just two weeks later at the Scholarship America Showdown in Wisconsin.

Kevin Stadler managed to raise some eyebrows earlier this year when he shot an impressive 8-under par 64 in the first round of the Buick Invitational. He has participated in four PGA TOUR events this year - the B.C. Open, U.S. Open, Buick Invitational and AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am - making the cut in every event.

Kevin Stadler made his debut at Castle Pines last year, earning minus-five points and missing Saturday's cut.
