Booz Allen Classic Menu to Feature World-Famous Chef's Dishes

POTOMAC, Md. - Forget hot dogs, hamburgers and chips.

Booz Allen Classic fans will feast on Wolfgang Puck's Chinois Chicken Salad and Spago specialty sandwiches; Buffalo Mozzarella, Vine-Ripened Tomatoes and Basil Aioli on Homemade Herb Foccacia; Slow Braised Beef Short Ribs; Roasted Cantonese-Style Duck and many more of the celebrated chef's signature dishes at this year's tournament, returning June 21-27, 2004 to the Tournament Players Club (TPC) at Avenel in Potomac, Md.

"Nothing goes better with a first-class PGA TOUR event like the Booz Allen Classic than an award-winning menu provided by Wolfgang Puck Catering and Events," said the world-renowned Wolfgang Puck.  "Everyone at the Tournament from fans and officials to even the golfers themselves will be treated to many of my appetizing offerings. "

Spectators will have the opportunity to sample the mouth-watering dishes, created by Puck's company, on upgraded menus at all tournament concession stands, corporate hospitality and also at the Booz Allen Pavilion club.

"We know our fans and guests will be pleasantly surprised and extremely pleased with Wolfgang Puck's unique and tasty selections," said 2004 Booz Allen Classic Executive Director Scott Abell. "The first-rate menu is a prime example of the tournament's efforts to help enrich our fans' experience at the Booz Allen Classic."

Wolfgang Puck (www.wolfgangpuck.com) is a global brand in cooking, fine dining, casual dining, quick-casual dining and food-related businesses providing superior quality meals, parties and events; food products; cookware; recipes; education and entertainment in all formats to consumers and food service operations.

The 2004 Booz Allen Classic begins a new era for one of the area's top professional sporting events and its title sponsor - Booz Allen Hamilton. Since moving to the Washington area in 1980, the tournament has distributed nearly $8 million to charities, half to local Washington area charities. Beginning with the 2004 Booz Allen Classic, tournament host Washington Golf Charities, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 2003 to host the Booz Allen Classic, and Booz Allen Hamilton have set a fund-raising goal of $1 million annually, with 100 percent going to Washington area charities, more than quadrupling any prior year's charitable giving to the local community.

KemperSports has operated the tournament since 1979, when the tournament originated in Charlotte.

The 2004 Booz Allen Classic has a tournament-record $4.8 million purse, with the champion collecting an all-time high $864,000 first-place check.
