Only one hospitality tent....handful of Skybox Suites remain
POTOMAC, Md. -- While the holiday season fast approaches, it's golf on the minds of many -- especially when it involves
the much-anticipated new era of professional golf in the greater Washington area -- the Booz Allen Classic -- which returns
to the Tournament Players Club at Avenel in Potomac, Md., June 21-27, 2004.
Tournament officials announced this week that strong pre-holiday sales of hospitality, sponsorship and tournament ticket
packages are on a record-setting pace, with more than six months remaining before tee off.
For those looking for the perfect last-minute stocking stuffer, 2004 single-day tournament tickets are now available at
a reduced cost off the gate price. General admission Grounds tickets are $30 (vs. $35 at gate) and tickets to the new Pavilion
Club are $45 (vs. $50 at gate); each ticket price is valid for any one single tournament day and includes parking. More options,
including weekly Grounds and Pavilion Club badges, are also available.
Regarding hospitality tents and skybox suites, only one tent location on the prestigious Hospitality Hill above the 18th
green remains available for purchase, while only a handful of skybox suites that line the 16th, 17th and 18th holes remain
untapped. Playing spots in the highly celebrated Pro-Am events have sold out every year since the tournament moved to the
Washington region in 1980, and 2004 is certain to be no exception.
To purchase tournament tickets, learn more about hospitality or sponsorship opportunities, or to be placed on the Pro-Am
waiting list, contact the Booz Allen Classic tournament office at (301) 469-3737, send an email to boozallenclassic@kempersports.com, or go online at www.boozallenclassic.com.
Ticket orders should be placed by Dec. 15 in order to ensure delivery by the holidays.
The 2004 tournament begins a new era for one of the area's top professional sporting events with the recently announced
new name, new title sponsor -- Booz Allen Hamilton -- and new logo. To date, the tournament has distributed nearly $8 million
to more than 150 local and national charities in the Washington, D.C. area. Beginning with the 2004 Booz Allen Classic, tournament
host Washington Golf Charities, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 2003 to host the Booz Allen Classic, and Booz
Allen Hamilton have committed to a goal of distributing at least $1 million annually from tournament-related proceeds exclusively
to Washington, D.C. area charities.
