About the EDS Byron Nelson Championship
The EDS Byron
Nelson Championship, the first PGA TOUR event named after a professional golfer, has provided more money to charity than any
other stop on the PGA TOUR. The 2006 Championship donated more than $6.4 million to Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers
(SCYFC). More than $94 million has been raised for SCYFC since the tournament's inception, and this year the Championship
will surpass the $100 million milestone in total charitable giving.
