The Presidents Cup competition consists of 34 matches -- 11 foursomes (alternate shot), 11 four-ball (better ball) matches and 12 singles matches involving all players on the final Sunday. All matches are worth one point each, for a total of 34 points.

Foursome and Four-ball matches all square at the end of 18 holes are halved, with each side receiving ½ point. Singles matches all square after 18 holes will to go extra holes until a match winner is determined. The winning team will have to accumulate no less than 17½ points to win The Presidents Cup. In a change inspired by the events of The Presidents Cup 2003, if the match is deadlocked at the end of singles play, the competition will be deemed a tie and the teams will share The Presidents Cup.

Can I bring a pram?

Prams are permitted into The Presidents Cup 2011 at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club. However it is recommended that patrons avoid using prams as maneuverability will be limited for both themselves and other spectators. In addition, due to the number of attendees and the terrain of the golf course, many areas are unsuitable for prams and strollers.

Which entrance do I use?

There are three main gate entries (E1) (E2) (E3) into The Presidents Cup at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club. Patrons entering the General Public Car park can via Gate (E2) within The Sandringham Golf Club. Other wise entry is available at Gate (E3) which gives patrons access straight into the Public Village.

What is The Presidents Cup radio?

The Presidents Cup Radio is a special event radio that allows users to listen to The Presidents Cup via radio broadcasting as well as the live audio from Television Networks broadcasting the event.

The Presidents Cup Radio will be available for purchase at all entrances into The Presidents Cup, as well as on the course via our mobile sales team for $20 or two for $30. After purchasing, the radio is yours to keep.

Are there any road blockages during the event?

Cheltenham Rd will be closed throughout the duration of The Presidents Cup 2011. Please see website for other traffic restrictions.

Are lockers available?

A. Unfortunately lockers will not be available at The Presidents Cup. However Cloak Rooms will be provided for patrons at (E1), (E2) and (E3) gate entries. Patrons dropping off items and clothing will be given a ticket that must be exchanged when items/clothing are to be collected. The cloak room service will cost $5 per item for the day.

Please do not leave any valuables in the cloak room as Presidents Cup Event M will not be responsible for valuable goods lost or stolen. You cannot check bikes into the cloak room.

Will Tiger be there?

Which station are the shuttle buses going to be running from?

Why are ticket limits in place?

Ticket sales limits are in place to ensure that all of our customers can receive equal access to The Presidents Cup 2011. If you would like to book a large amount of tickets, then please contact Ticketmaster Groups on 136 100. Please keep in mind when purchasing for groups that The Presidents Cup 2011 is a declared event under the Major Sporting Events Act 2009.

Do I need to present my concession card when I book tickets?

If you are booking within a Ticketmaster outlet you will be required to show your eligible concession card. Those who hold one of the following concession cards are eligible for Concession pricing for The Presidents Cup 2011:

-Victorian Seniors Card

-Interstate Seniors Card

-Australian Pensioner Concession Card

-Australian Health Care Card

-Victorian Public Transport Student Concession Card.

It is also a requirement that concession cards are carried with you when you attend The Presidents Cup

Can I sell The Presidents Cup tickets on eBay?

Any listed tickets on eBay or on any other auction site that are sold above face value may be cancelled without refund and resulting in denied admission into The Presidents Cup. What makes up a Family Pass?

A family pass consists of two (2) adults and two (2) children. These tickets can be purchased via the Ticketmaster website. Please go to our home page and then click on the Ticket Icon to direct yourself to the Ticket Master website.

Can I leave a ticket to be picked-up at a WILL CALL window?

A. Yes you can, The Presidents Cup 2011 Will Call Ticketing office will be located at the entrance to the (B) Car Park located on Reserve Road. Operating hours are as follows:

Tuesday 15th November 8:00 am -- 4:00 pm

Wednesday 16th November 8:00 am -- 5:00 pm

Thursday 17th November 8:00 am -- 3.00pm

Friday 18th November 8:00 am -- 3.00pm

Saturday 19th November 5:30 am -- 3.00pm

Sunday 20th November 8:00 am -- 2.00pm

What can't I bring into The Presidents Cup 2011?

You will be asked to return prohibited items to your vehicle prior to entering the tournament grounds or alternatively check the items at our cloaking facilities for a nominal fee. Please be prepared to submit yourself and personal items for inspection.

What should I wear?

It is recommended to wear appropriate and comfortable clothing to The Presidents Cup. It is recommended to wear a hat each day and apply sun screen regularly. It is also strongly recommended to wear runners or soft soled shoes to the event.

Will parking be available?

General Public Parking lot will be available at The Presidents Cup and is located at the Sandringham Golf Course on Tulip St. Once in the vicinity of the RMGC, please follow signs for the Public Parking. Parking is priced at $15 per vehicle, and is payable upon entry. Parking can also be purchased through Ticketmaster when purchasing your Presidents Cup tickets.

PLEASE NOTE: PARKING WILL BE LIMITED AND IT IS RECOMMENDED TO USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO THE ROYAL MELBOURNE GOLF CLUB.

Do carers of individuals with a disability gain free access?

The Presidents Cup ensures that all patrons of The Presidents Cup 2011 have full and equal access to the event. If a person with a disability requires a carer, the carer will be admitted free of charge with a valid Companion Card.

Are there designated disabled access areas at The Presidents Cup 2011?

A. Yes, a designated accessible area on the Driving Range, 1st tee, 10th Green, 16th green, 18th Green will be available for all general admission ticket holders with a disability and their carers.

Public conveniences for the use for people with a disability are located in close proximity to this dedicated viewing area, and also in the Village area.

Will Child care facilities be available?

A. Please be aware that there are no child care facilities at The Royal Melbourne Golf Club and adults are responsible for their children at all times.

Can I take my child to The Presidents Cup free of Charge?

Children aged 5-15 years can purchase a Children's ticket at prices listed on the Ticketmaster website. Children ages 4 and under will be granted free general admission access when accompanied by a paying adult, with a general admission ticket. Please note, only one child will be permitted per one adult.

Reserved grandstand seats must be purchased for all children, unless they are young enough to sit on your lap.

Due to licensing laws, children will not be permitted into the Captains' Club.
