SOBOBA GOLF CLASSIC NAMES THE V FOUNDATION FOR CANCER RESEARCH    AS BENEFICIARY OF THE SOBOBA CASINO CHARITY PRO-AMS
San Jacinto, CA, June 22, 2010- The 2010 Soboba Golf Classic, an official event on the PGA TOUR's Nationwide Tour, today announced that it has selected The V Foundation for Cancer Research as the beneficiary of the Soboba Casino Charity Pro-Ams, to be held at 8:00 am and 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 29th during the Soboba Golf Classic at The Country Club at Soboba Springs in San Jacinto, California.

"We are honored and excited to be the beneficiary of the Soboba Golf Classic's Soboba Casino Charity Pro-Ams," said Nick Valvano, CEO of The V Foundation for Cancer Research.

In addition to the Soboba Casino Charity Pro-Ams, the Soboba Golf Classic has donated a golf package valued at $10,000 to the "Don't Give Up ESPYs V Foundation Auction" June 29-July 9, 2010. For more details go to espnradio.com.

ABOUT THE SOBOBA GOLF CLASSIC
The 2010 Soboba Golf Classic, hosted by the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians, will be held at The Country Club at Soboba Springs the week of September 27 - October 3, 2010.  An official event on the PGA TOUR's Nationwide Tour, the Soboba Golf Classic is one of only two tournaments on the PGA TOUR's Nationwide Tour with a purse of $1,000,000.  The Soboba Golf Classic is expected to draw tens of thousands of spectators to the region over the course of Tournament week, and will be broadcast live on The Golf Channel Coverage from 1:00 - 3:00 PST, September 30 - October 3, 2010.  Through the Tickets Fore Charity program, participating charities can purchase tickets on behalf of their charitable organization, with 100% of the ticket sales going directly back to the participating charity.  For more information, visit www.sobobaclassic.net.
