19th ANNUAL PRICE CUTTER CHARITY CHAMPIONSHIP PRESENTED BY DR PEPPER SLATED FOR JULY 12-21
"EVERY SHOT COUNTS!" SPRINGFIELD (MO) - For the 19th straight year, the John Q. Hammons Foundation will host the Price
Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper at Highland Springs Country Club from July 12-21. Ramey/Price Cutter/Smitty's
Supermarkets returns as the tournament's title sponsor for the seventh straight year. Dr Pepper will serve as the presenting
sponsor. The event is the 18th stop on the 2008 Nationwide Tour, and features 72 holes of tournament play with a $600,000
purse. This year's champion will take home $108,000. Nationwide, one of the largest insurance and financial services
companies in the world is in its sixth year that sponsorship has now been extended through the 2012 season. The 30-stop Nationwide
Tour will visit a total of 25 states plus Panama, Canada, and New Zealand this year.

again on Thursday, July 17 courtesy of Interstate Powercare and Free Admission on Friday, July 18 courtesy of G.L. Moore Tire
Company. Thursday's tournament attendees may register for a $500 Gift Card to Interstate Batteries and Friday's tournament
attendees may register for a Free set of tires from G.L. Moore Tire Company. Winners will be drawn on Championship Sunday
(July 20th) following play. Attendees must have a ticket for Thursday and Friday's Free Admission. Free Daily
Admission Tickets are available at G.L. Moore Tire Company, located at 2253 E. Olive Court in Springfield and Interstate Batteries,
located at 2555 E Kearney St, also in Springfield. Tickets to the tournament are also available at the Missouri Sports
Hall of Fame.<BR>• A Habitat for Humanity home will be built at the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame during tournament week.
And will be given to a deserving family once it's built.<BR>• Our purse has increased to $600,000, which is an all-time
high for the tournament. The 2008 Champion will receive a check on the 18th green for $108,000.<BR>• The tournament
is partnering with the Sertoma Club this year to host the Summer Sizzle 19th Hole Party. The event will be held Saturday,
July 19th at Summers at the River and will feature a variety of musical entertainment. The headliner act this year is
The Eli Young Band, which happens to be opening for Dave Matthews's band later this year.<BR>• The tournament has added

News & Notes Marlin Network Charitable Fund Charity Sweepstakes Program The purpose of the Marlin Network Charitable
Fund Charity Sweepstakes Program is to allow participating charities the opportunity to raise additional funds for their organization.
The program is also designed to help increase the tournament's overall attendance, while also generating an added excitement
to the tournament. This year each charity as the opportunity to receive a 100 % match for every ticket that is sold.
For example, if a charity sells 100 Tickets, at $25 each, then that charity will receive an additional check for $2500 from
the tournament the Celebration of Sharing. The Charity Sweepstakes will work as follows: Four thousand (4,000)
tickets will be sold for $25 each between now and tournament week. The purchaser will receive a special, four-day tournament
badge to the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper ($40.00 value) and a chance to win one of over 400 prizes.

Each day (Thursday, July 17 - Sunday, July 20) 100 daily prizes (minimum $25 value) will be given away. The Charity
Sweepstakes will culminate with the Championship Grand Prize drawings on Sunday, July 20. This year, $10,000 cash and
a 2008 Red Solstice Convertible will be given away on the 18th green immediately following the completion of the tournament.
Winners, a spouse, or an authorized representative must be present to win the cash and car. Winners, a spouse, or an
authorized representative need not be present to claim other prizes. Winners of daily gift certificates will be reentered
into the Championship Grand Prize drawings.
Saturday Night Filled With Fireworks, Fun, and Music The popular TLC Properties/Coryell Enterprises Family Fun Night
event returns and will be held at the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday, July 19th at 6:00 p.m. The event will
feature entertainment for the entire family, including free rides and games in a carnival atmosphere presented by Amberg Entertainment.
A fireworks extravaganza, sponsored by Camp Barnabas, will follow at dusk. Also on Saturday, The Arc of the Ozarks Long
Drive Contest will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the Highland Springs Country Club driving range and is open to golfers of all
ages. The popular 19th Hole Party serving Miller Products returns this year for ONE night. This year the tournament
is partnering with the Sertoma Club to host the Summer Sizzle 19th Hole Party at the Summers at the River. The event
will feature many bands including Ryan James, The Mark Chapman and headliner, The Eli Young Band. Admission is $10.00

Opportunity to Play with the Big Boys The ninth annual iGolf Sponsor's Exemption Qualifier will be played on Monday,
June 9th at Rivercut Golf Course. The entry fee is $100, with the proceeds of the event going to benefit the children's
charities that the tournament supports. To be eligible to play, participants must have a handicap of five (5) or better
and be a resident of Missouri or reside within 120 miles of Springfield. The top two finishers in this event will receive
the Sponsor's Exemptions to play in the 2008 Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper. This year, the
third and fourth place finishers in the Qualifier will receive paid entries into the Monday, July 14 Qualifier at Millwood
Golf & Racquet Club.
Boys & Girls Grades 7th through 12th Can Play Too Junior golfers, grades 7th - 12th can play golf in the Bolivar
Insulation Junior Pro-Am. The cost is only $200 for a four-person team or $50 per person. The event on Wednesday,
July 16 at Rivercut Golf Course at 9:00 a.m., provides middle and high school students with an opportunity to play golf with
a touring professional on the Nationwide Tour. The event is limited to 28 teams. Applications for both the Sponsor's
Exemption Qualifier and the Bolivar Insulation Junior Pro-Am are available through the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented
by Dr Pepper office, located at 3861 E. Stan Musial Drive.
Ladies...don't miss your opportunity to talk with a Pro Through the Advertising Plus Women's Golf Clinic, ladies will
have the opportunity to get great lessons from the best. The clinic will take place at Highland Springs Country Club
on Monday, July 14 beginning with registration and continental breakfast at 10:00 a.m. in the Jackson Brothers of the South
Ozarks Club Tent. The golf clinic will run from 10:30 a.m. to noon, with the luncheon and fashion show to follow from
12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Jackson Brothers of the South Ozarks Club Tent. The clinic is geared toward ladies, young
and old, who are interested in learning more about the game of golf from several area professionals. The ticket price
is $25.00 or tables of 10 are available for $200. Admission includes the golf instruction and the luncheon at Highland
Springs Country Club in the Jackson Brothers of the South Ozarks Club Tent. Tickets are available at the Price Cutter

Charities The proceeds from the 2008 Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper will benefit over 40 children's
charities in the Ozarks region. In 2007, the Foundation distributed $650,308 to 43 children's charities in the Ozarks,
bringing the 18-year total to over $6.3 million.
Tickets Tickets for the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper may be purchased at area Ramey/Price
Cutter/Smitty's Supermarkets and the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. Daily Admission Tickets are available at G.L. Moore
Tire Company and Interstate Batteries. Tickets will be available for distribution on June 16th.
