Finished fourth at the National Junior Olympics in the high jump in 1990 and was junior state champion trap shooter. Grandfather, who he calls his hero, started him in golf at age 14. Finished fourth at the National Junior Track Olympics in the high jump in 1990 and was junior state champion trap shooter. Lists making it to the PGA TOUR in 2006 as his biggest thrill in golf.
