    No relation to his famous countryman, Champions Tour player Eduardo...Took up golf at age 8 after being bedridden and on a strict diet with a kidney disease. Started caddying at The Jockey Club outside Buenos Aires, Argentina before playing. Turned pro at age 16...Coached by his uncle, Miguel Romero...Nickname is Pigu...Was forced to give up his favorite hobby, monocycling, when he turned professional because it was deemed too dangerous.
