Member of the Nationwide Tour since 2004. Made the cut in 17 of 28 starts in 2007, with six top-25 finishes. Cracked the top 10 just once, finishing T9 at the Mark Christopher Charity Classic. Made two cuts on the PGA TOUR in 2007, finishing 56th at the AT&T
Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and missing the cut at the U.S. Open. Enjoyed a consistent season on Tour in 2006, with 24 made cuts in 26 appearances, including four top-10 finishes. Finished the year with a Tour-leading 23 straight made cuts, the second best streak in Tour history. Wrapped up the year No. 23 on the money list, with $199,276-missing out on receiving his 2007 PGA TOUR card by $6,137. Made the first hole-in-one of the season when he aced the 17th hole in the second round of the Movistar Panama Championship. The ace was part of a second-round, 6-under 64, and he eventually finished T37. Missed the cut in his next two starts at the Jacob's Creek Open and the Livermore Valley Wine Country Championship before reeling off 23 straight weekend appearances. During that stretch, had three top-10 finishes, including a T5 at the Legend Financial Group Classic and a sixth-place finish at the Price Cutter Charity Championship. Had a career-best runner-up finish at the Oregon Classic. After holding a share of the 36- and 54-hole leads, finished regulation tied at 17-under with Cliff Kresge, but then fell to the eventual winner on the third extra hole. Was the 2000 Pac-10 Freshman of the Year. Came back the following season and was awarded Co-Player of the Year honors. Lists Larry Bird as his hero. Got his start in golf from his parents. His dad, Bruce, was a former kicker for the New England Patriots.
