 Career Highlights
2000: Struggled with only three top-25 finishes in 29 season starts. 1999: Had career-high in earnings of $933,033 (No. 41). Earned second PGA TOUR title at Touchstone Energy Tucson Open and became the first Swedish player to earn two victories on TOUR. Started with 67-68-73 and trailed by two
strokes heading into Sunday. Final-round 68, which included a double-bogey on 72nd hole, earned him tie with Tommy Armour III. Back on 18, in playoff, sank a 25-foot birdie putt on first extra hole for victory marked second time in three years he had won on TOUR and $495,000 payday more than he made in either of his first two seasons. 1997: Rookie on the PGA TOUR. Became first Swedish player to win on the PGA TOUR with victory at the B.C. Open in what likely would have been his last start of the year, by defeating Chris Perry, Andrew Magee and Lee Rinker by one stroke, earning $234,000. Shot 70-69-66 and trailed by one through 54 holes. Final-round 70 enough for win and moved him from 226th to 84th on season money list. 1996: After overcoming dislocation of temporomandibular joint, which helped force him off European Tour in 1995, earned PGA TOUR card following year via ninth-place finish in 1996 Qualifying Tournament. 1994: The following year, had four top-five finishes in Europe, including two more runner-up finishes--French Open and Lyon Open--and T5s at Honda Open and Medeira Open. 1993: Joined PGA European Tour and made immediate impact with T2 at 1993 Lyon Open. 1992: Finished T4 at Australian Masters. 1990: Competed on the Australasian Tour and earned Rookie of the Year honors after top-10 finishes in Johnnie Walker Classic and Air New Zealand Open. Competed for Sweden in 1994 and 1999 Dunhill Cup. Amateur: Member of Sweden's victorious team at 1990 World Amateur Team Championship.
