While growing up, rode cutting horses and roped calves on ranch at current site of TPC at Las Colinas in Irving, TX...After an unpleasant first experience with golf at age 7, didn't touch a club for five years...Taught himself golf swing by mimicking those he saw on television...Worked as an ABC Sports golf commentator for nine PGA TOUR events in 2003.
