The third leg of the FedExCup Playoffs begins Thursday at Cherry Hills. Following the BMW Championship, the FedExCup field will be trimmed to the 30 competitors who will compete for golf's richest prize at East Lake.

After a PGA TOUR Season that featured just three lead changes and as many leaders, we've seen two changes at the top in as many weeks during the quintuple-point Playoff events.

Of 70 eligible competitors, 69 will tee it up this week in the BMW Championship. Anyone inside the top 24 could unseat Chris Kirk atop the standings with a victory, while anyone in the field could get into the top 5 with a victory in Colorado. That number is important because anyone inside the top 5 prior to the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola would win the FedExCup with a victory at East Lake.

Below you'll find scenarios for every player in the BMW Championship field. With each player you'll find his rank, how far he could potentially drop without securing any FedExCup poitns, and what finish he needs to likely punch his ticket to East Lake.
