1991 Fred Couples Had nine top-10s, including two wins, and ended the year with top-5s in six of last eight events.
1992 Fred Couples Career year with three wins, including Masters, and more than $1.3 million to top money list.
1993 Nick Price Won four times, including THE PLAYERS Championship, and finished with nearly $1.8 million earnings.
1994 Nick Price Six victories included wins at the British Open and PGA Championship; eight top-10s in all.
1995 Greg Norman Three wins, two runner-up finishes and a third-place finish; was top 25 in 14 of 16 events played.
1996 Tom Lehman Victories at the British Open and THE TOUR Championship highlighted 13 top-10s in 22 events.
1997 Tiger Woods Record-setting Masters victory was one of four wins and nine top-10s. Woods was also named AP Male Athlete of the Year.
1998 Mark O'Meara At 41, became oldest player to win two majors in the same year with victories at the Masters and British Open. Had seven top-10s total.
1999 Tiger Woods Eight victories included a win at the PGA Championship; in all he had 16 top-10s in 21 events with more than $6.6 million in earnings.
2000 Tiger Woods Won the U.S. Open in record fashion before adding wins at the British Open and PGA Championship, finishing with nine victories.
2001 Tiger Woods Completed the Tiger Slam with Masters victory after winning at Bay HIll and THE PLAYERS Championship on his way to five total victories.
2002 Tiger Woods Repeated as Masters champ and won the U.S. Open. Totaled five wins and 13 top-10s in 18 events.
2003 Tiger Woods Five victories in 18 starts and broke Byron Nelson's record for consecutive cuts made with 114th at THE TOUR Championship.
2004 Vijay Singh Unseated Woods as the No. 1 player in the world with nine victories, including the PGA Championship, and more than $10 million in earnings.
2005 Tiger Woods Masters and British Open victories highlighted six-win season in which he also four runner-up and two third-place finishes.
2006 Tiger Woods Eight victories included emotional win at the British Open -- his first since the passing of his father -- and PGA Championship; ended year with six-straight wins.
2007 Tiger Woods Captured the inaugural FedExCup and won seven times, the first of which extended his TOUR winning streak to seven.
2008 Padraig Harrington Career year with British Open and PGA Championship victories; six top-10s in 15 starts.
2009 Tiger Woods Won his second career FedExCup and had six victories in all. In 17 events, finished in the top 10 a total of 14 times.
