Prior to the 2023 Shriners Children's Open, LPGA's Lexi Thompson gives 2023 Shriners International Patient Ambassador, Gianna, a golf lesson. Gianna was born with a rare condition called proximal femoral focal deficiency (PFFD), which caused her to be missing part of her left femur and resulted in her leg being amputated. Thompson received a sponsor exemption into this year's tournament at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada.
